As previously reported on Train4TradeSkills News , the Green Deal is the government’s plan to improve energy efficiency in millions of homes across Britain. The scheme will pump £200 million of new investment into the building industry and give confidence to businesses. It may lead to a cleaner, zero-carbon future, but it seems that the Green Deal isn’t the most popular thing amongst contractors. new survey undertaken by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) has found that 44% of its members believe homeowners won’t take advantage of the Green Deal, which could lead to fewer jobs for contractors.
