    Deduct Meters Can Add Dollars
Licensed Electrician, HVAC/R. In the Commercial Property arena, there is a little known tool called a ‘Deduct Water Meter’ (or Sub-Meter ), that can save property owners lots of money in the right circumstances. We all know that standard water meters measure the amount of water that enters the property, delivered by the water utility at the street.  This meter will usually measure the water in hundreds of Cubic Feet or CCF. 100 cubic ft of water = 748 gallons).  The catch is; all the water that enters your property through the water meter may not leave your property by the sewer system.

Construction marketing: Learning from the old and new
Though don’t discount the “obvious” If you are a plumber or electrician, for example, delivering the service at the agreed-on price, competently and with respect for the eclient’s schedule and environment  still counts for a lot!). This is the era of social media, individually-created video, massive, outrageous network sizes (if you are using LinkedIn , you’ll know how big your network is, when you go to third degree of separation.) The biggest danger in construction marketing occurs when you try to take shortcuts. Where should you put your energies?

François Béharel, the president of Randstad France, a branch of the multinational employment agency, said that the problem of youth unemployment among the educated is worsening at a time when employers are crying out for engineers, computer technicians, electricians and welders. We are all American is what that translates to mean. As I wrote about the problems regarding similar situations with American and English youth, in our mulinational economy those "Socialist" French are finding similar problems with their young. Ah to be young, French and unemployed. it used to be amour. Ah well.

Extreme Field Service: How to Service a Mountain
We’ve got one electrician, and a group of guys that go out to repair the hydrants and do maintenance, or change the oil on the motors. Most field service people are in the business of fixing a thing — a piece of equipment, appliance, or cable line. Barrett Burghard  services a mountain. Burghard is the director of snow services for Heavenly ski resort near Lake Tahoe, on the California/Nevada border. His job is to ensure that the mountain is skiable throughout the season — that means laying 120 inches of man-made snow a year, and re-grooming runs nightly.
