I keep thinking of the term "shovel ready" and wonder how a municipality in only a few months have "shovel ready" projects for their infrastructure, especially when most can barely function with months/years advance. Today the New York Times found that this is just the case with many projects going unfunded and others simply not making any sense in relation to dollars and jobs in many states. Not shocking given our Mayor's disengagement from the larger picture outside the City of Seattle. said his city “did pretty terrible” when it came to getting money.
