This is a good thing by One Vision Housing, as so many people these days lack the basic DIY skills, such as putting in a kitchen, changing a light bulb or even painting a wall, according to a recent survey, Teaching young people these skills could be invaluable and help them when they buy their own home. A Housing Association has sent its plumbers and electricians back to school to teach children about the trades. Plumbers, electricians and joiners from One Vision Housing Property Services (OVHPS) went into Holy Family High School in Thorton to teach children basic trade and DIY skills.
