Thanks to his efforts of profiling the business opportunities in Montana at the Economic Development Summit he held last year to the national investors such as Goldman Sachs Inc, Welding News & NoteworthyStinger Welding is a well-known welding company. Recently, the company was given $17 million dollars to finish the plant. Construction on the new plant began in 2009. Because of a lack of financing, the plant has yet to be completed. Flathead Valley Community College's campus in Lincoln County has a new welding trailer and class. Around fifty people were gathered when the class was first opened in a reception to honor the new program. The welding program began in January and those students are expected to graduate this spring.
